Product Description
316L (L is low-carbon): As a low-carbon series of 316 steel, in addition to having the same characteristics as 316 steel, it has excellent grain boundary corrosion resistance.
316L is a stainless steel material grade, AISI 316L is the corresponding American designation, and sus 316L is the corresponding Japanese designation.
Application
Because of the Mo content, 316L stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, so its main application is its chemical properties, which can be safely used in environments containing Cl- and other halogen ions.
